The 1999 RISE Scholars


In the 1998/99 school year, over 30 applications were received from students at the ten host institutions. The ten 1999 RISE Scholars are listed below, along with their home institutions and the institutions at which their awards were held. Almost all of the ten students were also awarded NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Awards, held concurrently with the RISE Scholarships.
