The 1997 RISE Scholars


In its second year, the RISE program received over 30 applications from students at eight host universities. The programme was expanded in December 1996 to include Professor Glen Loppnow of the University of Alberta, after the deadline for receipt of applications. This position was filled from the existing 1997 applications.
